Blood and Stone is a Musicians Collective headed by Producer/Engineers Huptus Amann and Werner 4 Bayer and Bassist/Singer Paul Harriman.

Running

Your barriers, your walls, your barbed wire fences,
Your guns and your soldiers, your border defenses.

But I’ll keep on running ‚cos there’s no other way
no home to return to and no place to stay.
And you’ll move us on at the point of a blade,
my sisters my brother, my mother, my babies.

Then you’ll turn us back, contempt in your faces,
just following orders from fools in high places.
Your hostile environment, the stage you have set,
when you blow up our homeland what can you expect?

Or you’ll keep us in cages and wait for commands
from low-life with high voices … our lives in their hands.
They’ll debate and consider and decide on our fate
but heaven forbid that, our hope turns to hate.

So what’s going on in your head? This ice-cold disdain
could it be that hard discipline has fucked up your brain?
Take a minute to imagine just how it would be
if you and your family were running, and running, and running, like me.
